SDJACL Community Dialogues start Thursday Nov. 11th at 6:30pm

The San Diego Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League (SDJACL) invites you to join us as we begin a journey to explore in monthly Community Dialogues various topics of current interest with relevance to the JA community.

We are looking to create an opportunity to come together, to empower, to share stories, to collaborate and to lift each other up in a respectful and safe space.

Our introduction to this will commence on Thursday, November 11th at 6:30p via zoom with plans to meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month in the same manner.

We wish to begin our first Dialogue around an article from the New York Times entitled "How It Feels to Be Asian in Today's America" published September 25th, 2021 https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/09/25/us/asian-americans.html?smid=url-share

Curious? So are we. Let's see what happens, and most importantly, let's get to know each other and our remarkable community.

Please RSVP to sandiegojacl@gmail.com if you would like to attend so as to receive the zoom link.

We also acknowledge that November 11th is Veterans Day, and we have a very special guest, retired Naval officer John Ujihara, who will begin the night retelling a story of his father's time in the 442nd infantry regiment.
