Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM Via Zoom
On February 19, 1942 President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed
Executive Order 9066 that authorized the removal and incarceration of 120,000 Japanese Americans from the West Coast and parts of Hawai’i.
The impact of this government action has forever changed our community
and holds important lessons for today.
* Join us to honor and remember our Issei and Nisei who endured so much
and persevered to raise their families and create community.

about the losses and trauma caused by E.O. 9066.
* Meet San Diego City Council President Sean Elo-Rivera who will be speaking
and will help us commemorate the 80th year since
