Join us as SD JACL hosts the National Defense University

Join us for Social Hour with the National Defense University - 3:30 P.M. May 1st

The San Diego JACL is honored to host an educational workshop for the National Defense University’s International Fellows Program, a US Department of Defense program that allows top-ranking leaders from foreign militaries to study national security strategy in Washington DC.

We have the unique opportunity to educate 80 international military officers about the civil rights injustices endured by the 120,000 Japanese Americans who were interned during World War II. This is a great opportunity to positively influence international policy and prevent the mistakes of the past from reoccurring.

We are looking for individuals in our community to attend this event and share their thoughts and experiences. Please join us for a free hosted social hour. The National Defense University will be catering heavy hors d'oeuvres and nonalcoholic beverages.
