Alisha Tomita - Treasurer
Alisha has over 10 years of experience in Finance working for Fortune 500 Companies. She is currently a Senior Global Financial Analyst for Oracle Corporation. Alisha earned her dual bachelor’s degree in Finance and Risk Management. She is currently a Masters of Advanced Studies in International Affairs (MAS-IA) candidate at the school of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IRPS) at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). Alisha moved to San Diego from Northern California in 2012 and began involvement with JACL SD in 2013.

Genevieve Suzuki
Genevieve A. Suzuki is an attorney and community newspaper editor. In addition to practicing family law in San Diego, she edits all of Mission Publishing Group’s newspapers: Mission Times Courier, La Mesa Courier and Mission Valley News. Suzuki earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in Speech from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa and her J.D. at California Western School of Law in San Diego. While at UH-Manoa, Suzuki was editor in chief of the school newspaper, Ka Leo O Hawai‘i. She is an alumna of the Dow Jones Newspaper Fund copy editing internship program. Suzuki is also the author of The Original Poi Cats on O‘ahu, a travel adventure book for children illustrated by Jon J. Murakami and published by Hawaii company Mutual Publishing.

Randy Okamura
Randy Okamura has served on the San Jose Chapter JACL Board of Directors and the Advisory Board prior to his San Diego arrival in November 2012.
Randy is also busy with external affairs, public policy, and philanthropic activities for AT&T in the Greater San Diego Region as a member of the AT&T’s External Affairs Team.
Previously he served as Area Manager, External Affairs, San Francisco Bay Area, where he was responsible for all external affairs, public policy and philanthropic activities in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties.
Randy also serves on the boards for the Boys and Girls Club of East County, the Junior Achievement for San Diego and Imperial Counties, and the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce. He formerly served on the boards for the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Redwood City-San Mateo County Regional Chamber of Commerce and a member of the working council for the Silicon Valley Leadership Group.
He earned his BA in Political Science and Economics from UCLA and his MBA from San Diego State University.
