Chad plans to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and major in Communications in the coming fall. Go Mustangs!

Izzy (Caitlyn) Wiseman
High Tech High Media Arts, Point Loma
Class of 2021
Izzy is attending UCLA with a major in English and History with a minor in Classical Studies. She has played varsity volleyball for 3 years as the libero / defense specialist. In her free time, she does volunteer work such as delivering meals to the elderly, playing bingo with senior citizens, and making blankets and goodies for military families.

Jenna Sasaki
Rancho Bernardo High School, Poway
Class of 2021
Jenna will be attending the University of California at Riverside in the autumn. She will be studying Business and plans to join the 5-year Master of Business Administration program at UCR.

Marcus Heidger
La Costa Canyon High School, Carlsbad
Class of 2021
Marcus plans to major in Agricultural Business at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is interested in Real Estate finance and development and eventually getting an MBA. He has been a 6-year active member of TVIA (Teen Volunteers In Action) and a competitive indoor and beach volleyball player (USA Volleyball's High Performance A1 Beach Team). He plans to continue competing while in college.

Sara Matsumoto
Northwestern University
Chicago, IL
Class of 2024
Sara will be moving to Chicago during the latter part of the summer to attend Northwestern University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program in the fall. An active member of the Buddhist Temple of San Diego (BTSD), she has helped teach the high school dharma school class for the past four years. In her spare time she is an artist, loves hanging out with her family, and works on an LGBTQIA+ community project aimed to help increase the LGBTQ+ representation in the greeting card industry.

Shou Kitahara
Canyon Crest Academy, Pacific Highlands Ranch
Class of 2021
Shou plans to attend UC Davis in the fall and major in Biological Sciences. In the long run, he plans to attend medical school. Outside of his activities at Canyon Crest Academy, Shou enjoys playing badminton and attending Japanese school every Saturday at Minato Gakuen.

Zoe Yamamoto
Westview High School, Torrey Highlands
Class of 2021
Zoe plans to attend the University of California at Irvine next fall. She intends to major in Computer or Data Science in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences. She hopes to explore career options within this field and is looking forward to the next chapter of her academic growth.
